M. Travis DiNicola

M. Travis DiNicola champions mission-based nonprofits. Originally from Pennsylvania, his professional career began in Indianapolis, where he was the Executive Director of Indy Reads, an adult literacy organization, and founded a nonprofit bookstore and community arts center. While there he published Indy Writes Books, featuring 29 Indiana authors, including John Green, Ben Winters, Barb Shoup, Cathy Day, Terence Faherty, Will Shortz, and Dan Wakefield writing about books, bookstores, and reading.  He’s written numerous articles, essays, and editorials on both the arts and literacy and was honored to write the introduction for the book The Fine Art of Murder (2016) by the Sisters in Crime Speed City Chapter. At the Nero Wolfe dinner during the 2009 Bouchercon, attended by Rex Stout's daughter,  he was invited to give a toast honoring Wolfe’s chef, Fritz.  He lives in Harrisburg.
